Composer

David Perkins has written a number of large and small scale choral works and other vocal compositions and for the theatre collaborated on several musicals. Shows include Pandemonium! and The Wind in the Willows (Edinburgh Festival Fringe); Shake Ripple and Roll, Skool and Crossbones and adaptations of Oscar Wilde's The Selfish Giant and The Happy Prince for Guildford's Yvonne Arnaud Youth Theatre; Just So Stories (Apollo Theatre Company); Arabian Nights (Story Pocket Theatre). Many of these musicals are now published and are regularly performed by schools and youth theatre groups in the UK and around the world.David has also written for film and television.
